Sports Balls
Eight sports balls at their real size, with their real mass and their real bounce.

(01) Overview
Every figure in this pack is the figure the real ball has. A basketball is 24 cm across and weighs 620 g; dropped from 1.80 m it comes back to 1.30 m, because FIBA says it must. Nothing here was chosen because it looked about right.

A prefab at scale 1
Three levels of detail, a sphere collider the size of the ball you can see, and a body carrying the real mass.
Three meshes
1,400 to 5,200 triangles at the first level, a third of that at the second, a tenth at the third.
Three maps
Colour, normal and a mask holding metallic, occlusion and smoothness — 2048 for the large balls, 1024 for the small ones.
A physics material
Bounciness that was measured, not guessed.
A demo scene
All eight in a row at true size, a turntable, and a corner where balls are dropped from the same height over and over.

(02) Start here
- 1
Drag a prefab from Prefabs into your scene. The transform reads 1, the ball is the size it says on the box, and it falls and bounces like the real thing.
(03) Good to know
- Adds almost nothing to your build: the only runtime code belongs to the demo, and deleting the Demo folder removes it.
- Needs no other package, and imports cleanly into a project with neither URP nor HDRP.
- Materials set themselves up for your render pipeline on import.
